Terms of Use — AI Live Translator

1. Service operator

AI Live Translator is powered by ProtoSparks. Contact: legal@protosparks.io.

2. Service features

• —Video calls and calls with multiple participants.
• —Real-time AI voice translation and subtitles.
• —Training sessions and AI interpreter for in-person meetings.
• —Booking, invitations, calendar and reminders.
• —AI transcription and summaries, when available and enabled; the platform does not save audio or video files.
• —Some functions are reserved for authorized Admins.

3. Access

Invitees can join via link without an account. Admin accounts are reserved for authorized users; credentials are personal. ProtoSparks may suspend or revoke access that is unauthorized or contrary to the Terms.

4. Bookings

You must provide correct information and an accessible email. You can receive confirmations, reminders and communications and, when available, modify or cancel via the dedicated links. Availability depends on the Host's calendar and may change.

5. AI translation

The translation is automatically generated and may contain errors, omissions or semantic differences. Always verify important information. The service does not replace a professional or certified interpreter in legal, medical, financial or high-risk contexts.

6. Availability and quality

Operation depends on connection, browser, device, microphone, camera and external services, including OpenAI, LiveKit, Google and the managed infrastructure used by the platform. ProtoSparks does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or total absence of errors, delays or interruptions.

7. Recordings

The platform does not save audio or video files. No transcript, saved text translation or summary should be stored without adequate notice and, where required, consent. For in-person sessions, the organizer is responsible for informing attendees and attesting to the consents required by law.

8. Acceptable use

• —Illegal activities, fraud, impersonation, harassment, threats and malware are prohibited.
• —Unauthorized access, violations of rights, disclosure of data without title and circumvention of security or permissions are prohibited.
• —Unauthorized scraping, reverse engineering, and stress testing are prohibited.

9. User responsibilities

The user is responsible for the contents communicated, the people invited, the correctness of the data, compliance with the law, the use of recordings or transcriptions and the protection of devices and credentials.

10. Intellectual property

Software, designs, trademarks, original content and graphics belong to ProtoSparks or their respective owners. Unauthorized reproduction, modification or distribution is prohibited.

11. Third-party services

The service depends on AI, realtime, calendar, email, hosting and database providers. Their terms may apply. ProtoSparks does not fully control the availability of third-party infrastructure.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ProtoSparks is not responsible for machine translation errors, decisions based solely on AI output, connection or device problems, external disruptions, temporary outages, or improper use. Mandatory responsibilities remain unaffected.

13. Changes to the service

ProtoSparks may modify, update or replace features for technical, safety, regulatory or improvement reasons.

14. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended for security, maintenance, abuse, violation of the Terms, or legal obligations.

15. Applicable law

The Terms are governed by Swiss law, without prejudice to mandatory provisions. The competent court is determined by the applicable Swiss legislation.
